Allegheny Lutheran Social Ministries (ALSM) is a non-profit organization affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, Allegheny Synod. ALSM programs and facilities serve everyone regardless of background and beliefs. ALSM's corporate office is located at 915 Hickory Street, Hollidaysburg, PA 16648. ALSM programs include counseling services, children's services, in-home support services, retirement communities, nursing and personal care facilities, and adult day care.

Center provides daily care to persons age 60 and older who meet eligibility requirements. Persons with Alzheimer's disease, incontinence, dementia, stroke disabilities, etc., are welcome. Personal care, activities, entertainment, and medication monitoring are offered with professional supervision. Licensed by PA Department of Aging. Provides respite for family members and helps maintain older adults in their homes as long as possible. Part of the Intergenerational Day Care Center - some joint programming with the Growing Years Early Learning Center also operated by ALSM.

Provides in-home services for persons who need assistance with normal daily living activities, e.g. bathing, dressing, going to the store to physician appointments, meal preparation, personal care, light housekeeping, temporary respite care, etc. No professional nursing services, workers are trained in first aid. Care management and RN supervision available for clients needing personal care.

ALSM's Growing Years Early Learning Centers are uniquely designed for parents who want quality child care for their children in an atmosphere that is both nurturing and educational. Licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the Early Years Centers provide curricula designed to encourage creativity while fostering the development of each child's mind, body and social self. Services available for children from birth to age 12.

Cottages and apartments for persons age 55 and older who are able to live independently. Maintenance of units and grounds provided. Additional temporary support services available. Features pre-school education and age-appropriate activities for children ages 12 months to pre-school. Nutritious meals and snacks, games, music, crafts and field trips, etc.
